Youth Development Centre is the head quarters of Gampaha District Badminton Association. The training programmes of Gampaha district junior and senior pools are held in our complex. We have produced International and National level Badminton players at our complex.
Swimming Pool Complex YDC
The swimming Pool is of international standard.
25 meter in length with 7 lanes , 3 Ft. at the shallow end and 6 Ft. at the deep end.
A toddler’s pool
Continuous purification, filtration and chlorination are carried out according to international standards,
Water is tested for germs and chemicals at regular intervals.
Qualified swimming coaches
Colorful pavilion with 200 seating capacity.
Large and clean changing rooms.
Water fountain and water mat slide.
Our Pool is the head quarters of Gampaha District Swimming & Life Saving Association.
We have produced many national and international level swimmers at our pool.
It is the most popular pool in the area. Open daily from 6.00 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. except on Poya days.
